Under the Liberals, that’s exactly what’s happening. This month, police investigated extortion-related shootings in Caledon and Orangeville.

 

These are not isolated incidents — extortion is spreading into local communities.

 

Extortion is up over 300% since the Liberals took power. 

Violent crime is up 45%.

 

Liberal laws repealed mandatory jail time and expanded catch-and-release bail. 

 

Conservatives introduced the Protection Against Extortion Act — and the Liberals voted against it. 

 

Canadians deserve safe communities, not soft-on-crime policies.
