KYLE SEEBACK SWORN IN AS MP FOR DUFFERIN-CALEDON

OTTAWA, ON – Kyle Seeback, Member of Parliament Elect, was officially sworn in as the Member of Parliament for Dufferin-Caledon during an oath ceremony in Ottawa on Wednesday.

"It's a great honour and privilege to officially be the Member of Parliament for Dufferin-Caledon. I look forward to being a strong and active voice for all residents of this riding," said Mr. Seeback. "I'm fully committed to ensuring the needs and best interests of Dufferin-Caledon are always represented in Ottawa."

The ceremony, officiated by Charles Robert, Clerk of the House of Commons, took place in the newly renovated West Block, and was attended by many of Mr. Seeback's family, friends, volunteers, and supporters. "I sincerely appreciate the immense support and trust which has been placed in me and I'm humbled by so many making the trip to Ottawa to join me for this special day," said Mr. Seeback.

When asked about his priorities as he prepares for the 43rd Parliament, set to commence on December 05, 2019, Mr. Seeback responded, "I have and will continue to work towards increasing the independence of Members of Parliament to ensure they can fully represent their constituents. I will also work hard to bring high speed broadband to all of Dufferin-Caledon. In addition, also making myself completely accessible to constituents, organizations within the riding, and local municipalities, is another key priority, to ensure Dufferin-Caledon receives support from our federal government for essential programs, projects, and services."
