Canadians are furious.

President Donald Trump continues to impose unjustified tariffs on Canadian goods and attack our country, our workers and our economy. These tariffs are hurting Canadian businesses, threatening jobs and putting additional pressure on families already struggling with the cost of living.

Canada must stand up for Canadian workers and businesses. But we also need to be honest about the cost of our response.

The federal government has imposed new counter-tariffs on $27.6 billion worth of American goods, with tariffs of up to 50 per cent taking effect September 8.

Canadians deserve to know: How much will these counter-tariffs ultimately cost Canadian families?
