King Charles Coronation Medal Program
ACCEPTING NOMINATIONS - KING CHARLES III CORONATION MEDAL
The Coronation Medal commemorates the May 06, 2023 Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III as King of Canada. To mark this milestone, the King Charles III Coronation Medal will be awarded to 30,000 deserving individuals for their contributions to their community, Canada, or the world.
As a partner of this program, I will be recognizing 20 exceptional individuals for their contributions to Dufferin-Caledon.
I’m currently accepting nominations for the Coronation Medal. Eligible candidates must meet the following national criteria:
-
Have made significant contributions to the country, a province, territory, region or community, or an achievement abroad that brings credit to Canada, and
-
Been alive on 6 May 2023. The award can be made posthumously, as long as the candidate was alive on that date.
If you would like to nominate someone who’s have never received a national honour for their exceptional efforts, please e-mail me at kyle.seeback@parl.gc.ca and I will send you the nomination form.
All nominations must be received by 11:59 p.m. on September 30, 2024 to be considered. A special presentation ceremony will be scheduled in the riding during the first quarter of 2025.
